Cal Mooney is drawn mysteriously towards an old house in Liverpool. There - in the form of a carpet - he sees a world taking shape that he knows he wants to be part of. Unknown to Cal, the world he sees is Weaveworld, a world created decades before by those blessed with magical powers.
