The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and the technology company HP have developed an international competition with the idea of ​​"self-sufficient city." This is an invitation to reflect on how we will live in the near future in light of the social, cultural and technological changes in which we are immersed. This publication presents 107 projects among 708 finalists competing proposals. From connected metropolises, eco neighborhoods, self-sufficient buildings, Intelligent homes or any other proposal for short, medium or long term. Among the winners found the "HURBS" draft Spaniards Sergio Castillo Tello and María Hernández Enríquez and "WATER FUEL" American Rychiee Espinosa and Seth Mcdowell. El Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Catalunya y la empresa tecnológica HP han desarrollado un concurso internacional con la idea de “ciudad autosuficiente”. Se trata de una invitación a reflexionar sobre cómo viviremos en un futuro próximo a la luz de los cambios sociales, culturales y tecnológicos en los que estamos inmersos. Esta publicación presenta los proyectos de 107 finalistas entre 708 propuestas participantes. Desde metrópolis conectadas, barrios ecológicos, edificios autosuficientes, casas inteligentes o cualquier otra propuesta para proyectos a corto, medio o largo plazo. Entre los ganadores encontramos el proyecto “HURBS” de los españoles Sergio Castillo Tello y María Hernández Enríquez y “WATER FUEL” de los americanos Rychiee Espinosa y Seth Mcdowell.
