Una mañana, en mi pueblo, hicieron un experimento. Ciento veintiocho niños de entre seis y ocho años fueron seleccionados entre todos los del colegio con un único criterio: ninguno había visto el mar. Así, montados en tres autocares, llegaron hasta la costa… One morning in my town, there was an experiment. 128 children between the ages of 6 and 8 were chosen according to one criteria: None of them had ever seen the sea. Once aboard three coaches, the children had to make a choice: A video game console or the chance to stay on the bus? The children who chose to stay were offered more and more until there was only one child left. A little girl who would go home without objects, but with so many things. A brilliant and intelligent story that teaches the difference between HAVING objects and BECOMING something through experience and knowledge. Something thats not at all easy to explain!
