Spanish Poetic Magazines (1939-1975) was the fruit of Fanny Rubio’s doctoral thesis after an exhaustive process of documentation, research and material selection. Upon its apparition in 1976, it became an essential reference text. However, when the original edition ran out, it was nearly impossible to find a copy. In fact, when photocopies began circulating in classrooms and universities, it became obvious that a republication was necessary. This book is a faithful reproduction of the original first edition text that is now preceded by a prologue written by recent Letters Prize winner, Leopoldo de Luis.
