Sinopsis de EL DESPERTADOR DE JONAS
Esta historia protagonizada por Jonás, un niño de unos cinco años, refleja el cúmulo de sentimientos encontrados que provoca en el niño la llegada a la familia del segundo hijo, por miedo a perder su puesto como“rey de la casa”. Los celos se resuelven cuando el protagonista“salva”a su hermana de una caída y ésta se lo agradece con caricias. La temática universal de los celos infantiles resuelta de forma natural, rodeada del universo gráfico, claro, conciso y alegre de la ilustración.From the day his little sister was born, the house smelt of her. It had smelt of Jonah before and only of Jonah. Jonah remembers when his mother was pregnant. Jonah remembers that he loved his little sister a lot. He stroked and kissed his mummy’s tummy and sang to her through the tummy button. One day, his little sister began to kick and Jonah did not like that. A girl that kicked his mother…. what a girl! Jonah remembers the day that they brought his little sister home. He did not want to see her and shut himself in his bedroom. That was when his father gave his an alarm clock with rabbits ears that went tick tock. His father took him to see his little sister who had her eyes wide open. Jonah looked at her eyes and she began to cry. Jonah thought she did not love him, even though that was not the case.
