Ralph Griffith has spent over 30 years off and on in the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a bank robber and a one time counterfieter. The last 7 years before his release to San Francisco he spent with Bernie Madoff, Jonathon Pollard, Nicky Scarfo, and serial killer Larry Hall in a small medical facility for those with chronic medical problems (Griffith and Madoff had heart problems) or psychological problems. Butner was and is, the feds biggest nut house. MONKEY HOUSE has been compared to the hit series Orange is the New Black--only MONKEY HOUSE would be on steriods steriods. Griffith began writing 14 years ago long before he even had heard the name Bernard Mafoff. It was in his words--simply fate that put them together.
