Sinopsis de LA HIJA DEL TUAREG
María, o Meryem, no podía imaginar lo que iba a cambiar su vida cuando de niña iba a por agua al pozo del oasis del Sahara en el que vivía. Allí trascurrían los días felices, hasta que dejaron de pasar las caravanas y su padre Yunan el tuareg tuvo que emigrar a España en busca de trabajo. Al poco tiempo, Yunan deja de enviar noticias y Meryem decide ir en su busca, pues está convencida de que le ha ocurrido alguna desgracia. En su viaje, le tocará vivir situaciones peligrosas como el naufragio de la patera en la que atraviesa el Estrecho, o las amenazas de Abdel Azid, un mafioso que se dedica a extorsionar a los inmigrantes en Almería, y al que su padre parece ser había desafiado… As a child, going for water in the Oasis, María (or Meryem) couldn’t have imagined how her life would change. There, in Sahara, she lived happily; until the caravans stopped coming, and her father Yunan, known as the Tuareg was forced to emigrate to find work. A short time later Yunan0s letters stop arriving and the problems started. Meryem decides to go and find him. Her journey will be fraught with perils. From surviving the shipwreck of the raft to dealing with the mafia that extort money from the immigrants and it’s leader Abdel Azid…who it seems her father has crossed with.
