After his adventures in Ancient Egypt and with the Vikings, Victor travels in time again, this time to the land of the Mayans. Becoming the koknom–the bodyguard of the young crown prince–his mission will be to protect the future king Pakal until his coronation. And this is no easy task for someone surrounded by enemies as ferocious as the men of Uneh Chan, the terribleCoiled Snake. Joined by his new friends, Victor will confront new challenges and adventures like beating a jaguar and watching the dangerous entertainment ofa civilisation with blood-curdling customs.
