Instead, they got Anne Shirley, an 11-year-old orphan who was mistakenly given to them. Despite not being the child they had intended, Anne does her best to be everything they wanted, as she becomes a treasured part of their family, her school, and the town. Since its release, Anne of Green Gables has sold over 50 millions copies and been translated into 20 different languages. During her life, L.M. Montgomery wrote several sequels to the novel. After her death, another sequel and a prequel were released. Because of the novel’s popularity, the book has been adapted several times to the big and small screen, as well as stage performances. Me mandaron este libro en inglés como lectura obligatoria en el instituto y resulta fácil de leer y entender, muy recomendable para practicar el idioma en los niveles básicos.
Me encanta este libro, el personaje de Anne es increíble, súper dulce y divertida. Leí el libro siendo niña y lo releí al ver la serie en Netflix, siendo en los dos momentos súper entretenido y despertando un montón de emociones.
Anne of green gables es un libro que te dejará muchas frases en el corazón. Es una historia llena de imaginación, aventuras y ternura. Hace mucho que no leo un libro que me hiciera sentir ese calor en el pecho que te deja una buena lectura. Y sí, me he desvelado leyendo, pero no me arrepiento.
Es un libro que me mantuvo cautivada todo el tiempo, los personajes y su evolución me parece bastante buena, muchas de las relaciones me parecen muy tiernas, la imaginación y las palabras de Anne para esa época me parecen bastante avanzadas para la época en la que se desarrolla el libro, me la pasé riendo y sonriendo como boba con Gilbert Blyte, disfrute mucho está lectura
