To keep her quiet she is invited to participate in an experiment between the races. A high school for werewolves, vampire, fae, and everything in between…an attempt to bring peace between the races. As the only human, everyone assumes she is a mercenary. Alastair is a vampire prince. He grew up on the battlefield and socializing is not his thing. His parents think he is missing out on important growth experiences and enrolled him. Amber has to be his first and only friend. Or as close to one as he can get. So when he learns of her troubles he tries to help and immerses her in their world, literally making her a part of his family. Amber adapts and decides that what the councils are doing to make peace between the races is not good enough. Determined to be a doctor to one and all she embarks on a journey that will change the supernatural world forever.
